BEST APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
We are looking to recognise an organisation’s achievement in the development of an apprenticeship programme. This award is open to OEMs, dealerships, service providers, distributors, VARS and IT resellers – any business that operates within the print and IT sector. The judging panel will be looking for a positive recruitment process, for you to showcase how you go ‘above and beyond’ to champion apprenticeships, and for details of business and individual success within your company.
ENTRANTS SHOULD PROVIDE
Overview of the company including when established, no of people, management structure, offer, location(s) and typical customer base. 150 word (max)
Entry based around the following criteria 450 word (max)
- Overview: provide an overview of your company’s apprenticeship programme, include date it was established and the number of apprentices employed each year/to date. Outline how you have recruited a diverse and high quality apprenticeship workforce, demonstrate how you have gone ‘above and beyond’ to champion apprenticeships across all sectors of the business.
- Business strategy: describe your business’ strategy for developing apprenticeships to build key skills within your company, how you work with external training providers to deliver apprenticeships as a viable alternative to post-16 and post-18 full-time education, breadth of opportunity and strong alignment with learning and development.
- Positive impact: provide the number of apprentices who remained employed at your business after the programme ended, as well as evidence showing the positive impact of the programme on both the business and its people.
